How to reach

Darjeeling

The Queen of hills is Himalayan city in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is internationally renowned as a tourist destination for the spectacular view of Mount Kangchenjunga. One can have the view of entire signally range along with Mount Kangchenjunga, Bhutan Himalaya and a part of Everest range from Darjeeling. The eye catching Valles meandering reverse and process the lush green tea gardens are unique features of Darjeeling.

Darjeeling hill town is located at the Himalaya, northern part of West Bengal at an altitude of 6710 feet.

If you are visiting from other parts of India, you will first need to reach either New Jalpaiguri railway station, Bagdogra Airport or Siliguri Town and then approach Darjeeling.

By Air

Bagdogra Airport is the nearest air connection which is 96 Km away from Darjeeling. Many carriers like Air India, Spice Jet, Indigo, Go Air run direct flights from Delhi, Guwahati and Kolkata. Delhi and Kolkata air ports are well connected with internationally cities across the globe. Now, few international city like Bangkok and Paro also have direct flights via Druk Airline. Ones you reached at the airport we can arrange a private car , taxi or share cab to get to Darjeeling, which will take you around 3hr.

By Train

The Darjeeling railway station is administrated by the Darjeeling Himalaya railways, DHR. The nearest railway station in Darjeeling is at New Jalpaiguri, 62 Km from the main town. Which connects major India City's like Kolkata, Delhi, Guwahati, Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar and Kochi. The DHR toy Train service starts at New Jalpaiguri and will get you to Darjeeling at a speed no faster than 30 miles per hours. It takes 7 hours and halts at Batasia loop from where passengers can take photograph shoots of MT, Kanchenjunga.

By Bus

The regular bus service from Siliguri, (which is approximately 70kms away) to Darjeeling is quite slow but economical. Similar bus services are also available from neighboring towns like Kurseong and Kalimpong, which is 31 and 50 kms away respectively. Even Gangtok city runs daily buses to Darjeeling.
